About Us

RMIT University Vietnam is an Asian campus of Melbourne-based university RMIT (link is external)-Australia's biggest tertiary institution. RMIT Vietnam offers programs from business and management to design and micro engineering, and boasts an impressive range of extra-curricular activities that encourage students to break new ground in their areas of interest.

Established in 2001, RMIT is Vietnam’s first fully foreign-owned university. Starting with around 30 students, it now boasts a dynamic student body of approximately 5,500 in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Degrees are awarded by RMIT University in Australia, allowing Vietnamese students to receive an overseas education without leaving home. RMIT Vietnam also hosts students from Australia and many other countries. All degree programs are recognised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and are subject to regulation by the Australian Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency.

RMIT Vietnam offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the business, technology and creative areas. Drawing on the expertise of its experienced academic staff, the university delivers corporate training and tailored English training programs to meet the needs of international and local companies, industry and government. RMIT Vietnam has been the winner of the Golden Dragon Award for thirteen consecutive years 2003- 2015.
