About Us

APU Educational Development Group is the only 100 percent foreign-invested organization in Vietnam providing U.S. quality education for students in Vietnam and other countries.
APU maintains K-12 campuses in Saigon – (APU International School) and in Da Nang (APU American International School). Both campuses offer curricula approved by the State of California Department of Education.
APU Educational Development Group also operates The American University in Vietnam (AUV) – Dai Hoc My Tai Vietnam – which offers general education courses and bachelor’s degrees for students from Vietnam, the United States, and around the world.
APU’s campuses also serve as a SAT/ACT and AP Testing Centers of the College Board and are members of the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Most APU teachers have graduate credentials from accredited U.S. universities and colleges along with substantial international experience.
APU prides itself on small classes and strong results. Graduates from the class of 2019, and from previous years, have received more than $4 million USD annually in scholarships from a number of top U.S. universities.
APU also has a unique dual-enrollment program that allows high school students to earn university credits from major U.S. universities and the world.
AUV offers a strong university prep program and serves as a hub for several U.S. universities interested in quality study-abroad programs in Vietnam.
