Serving as a liaison for Cathay Bank (USA), the Ho Chi Minh City representative office bridges our US operations with the dynamic Vietnamese market. A key function of our office is conducting comprehensive market research to continuously identify emerging financial trends and opportunities.
Furthermore, the representative office plays a pivotal role in promoting the investment projects of foreign credit institutions and other international entities engaged in banking activities across Vietnam. We actively facilitate, promote, and monitor the implementation of bilateral contracts and strategic agreements signed between Cathay Bank (USA) and local Vietnamese credit institutions or enterprises.
This also includes overseeing the progress of various local projects directly funded by Cathay Bank (USA). In addition to these core functions, the office engages in all other representational activities permitted under Vietnamese law.
