About Us

Dwight School Hanoi was the eighth of nine schools to join the Dwight network, bringing 150 years of Dwight education to Vietnam. The School has a close relationship with the other Dwight Schools, including the flagship school in New York, and benefits from shared expertise, resources, and opportunities for collaboration among students and educators around the world.

Dwight School Hanoi is guided by Dwight’s three pillars: personalized learning, a commitment to community, and a global vision. Students are supported in developing their individual interests, talents, and passions, reflecting Dwight’s mission to “ignite the spark of genius in every child.” The School delivers the International Baccalaureate (IB) through learning experiences designed to meet the needs of each student.

The purpose-built Hanoi campus supports learning across academics, the arts, athletics, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Dwight School Hanoi is the only school in Vietnam to offer a Manchester City Football School, providing students with access to the club’s coaching philosophy and training methodology. The School also offers Spark Tank, which supports students in developing original ideas and turning them into reality.

Innovation has been part of Dwight throughout its history. Dwight was the first school in the Americas to offer all four IB programs and the first independent school to establish a school overseas. Dwight School Hanoi builds on this experience while developing programs and opportunities for its community in Vietnam.
