Murphy Oil Corporation is an international oil and gas company that produces oil and natural gas in both onshore and offshore in the United States and Canada, and conducts exploration activities worldwide. Headquartered in El Dorado, Arkansas, Murphy has over 1,500 employees worldwide.
In Vietnam, Murphy operates three offshore Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) from its Ho Chi Minh City office: the shallow-water Block 15-1/05 PSC and Block 15-2/17 PSC in the Cuu Long Basin, the deep-water Blocks 144 & 145 PSC in the Phu Khanh Basin. Specifically, Murphy is focused on progressing development activities of the Lac Da Vang field and exploration activities of the Lac Da Trang field in Block 15-1/05.
