MoMo is Vietnam’s leading mobile payment and over-the-counter (“OTC”) remittance. It processes millions of transactions for a large and growing customer base of over 8 million people. Besides 5 million customers using its e-wallet on mobile, MoMo is the only mobile payment company allowed by the State Bank of Vietnam to provide OTC (over-the-counter) remittance and payment services to 3 million customers through 5,000 agents nationwide, especially in rural areas where banking services and smartphones are less prevalent.
