Polaris Inc is a global powersports company. Since our founding in Roseau, Minnesota, USA in 1954, we’ve been making high-quality, breakthrough products and broadening the powersports industry- whether it’s launching the snowmobile industry, reinventing ATV categories year after year, developing purpose-built military vehicles, introducing a radical 3-wheel moto-roadster, or getting people to explore the outdoors by providing a network of ride and drive adventures.
From our entrepreneurial roots as a mechanical shop, we’ve grown into a global industry with more than 30 brands across many segments. From our Polaris-branded off-road vehicles and snowmobiles, to Indian motorcycles (America’s oldest motorcycle brand), to GEM electric vehicles and Bennington boats, Polaris is committed to helping our customers Think Outside as they work and play outdoors.
Northstar Precision is a Polaris subsidiary joint venture located in Vinh Phuc province. Our primary business is an assembly of vehicle components for export to Polaris vehicle assembly facilities located around the world. Our team also engages in various supply chain and sourcing activities throughout Southeast Asia. Northstar was founded in May of 2018 and we made our first shipments in October of the same year. In 2019, our team nearly tripled in size, and we project a great deal of additional growth in 2020.
