Long has about 20 years’ experience in development, financing, construction, operation and acquisition of power projects in Vietnam. Long is a Business Development Director and takes lead for business development of power projects of AES Corporation in Vietnam since Oct 2014.

Previously with Nexif from July 2013 to Sep 2014, Long led development, financing and construction of hydropower project of 30MW in Vietnam for Infraco Asia, a donor funded infrastructure development company managed by Nexif. Prior to Nexif, from June 2006 to June 2013, Long worked for AES Corporation and was a Business Development Manager for the Mong Duong 2 BOT Power Project (2 x 600MW), played key roles in the development, financing and construction.

Long also worked and held different positions in Pha Lai 2 coal fired power project (2 x 300MW), Phu My 3 CCGT and Uong Bi Extension No.1 (1 x 300MW).

Long graduated from Vietnam Marine University.
