About Us

Conservation Vietnam (CV) is a new Vietnamese Foundation which has been developed because of the huge challege the country faces in maintaining its unique biodiversity and the lack of financial and capacity support for local organisations to meet this challenge in the country. CV comprises an endowment fund, which functions as a grant making facility for the support of Vietnamese organisations engaged in conservation activities. It has been developed by the country’s leading conservationists in partnership with major private sector investors in Vietnam.

As a local foundation with a small operational footprint and a diverse and high - capacity staff working across sectors in Vietnam, we are committed to agile and responsive giving which meets the needs of our broad strategic priorities while linking grantees to a wide diversity of further opportunities.

We support innovative and experimental approaches that have the potential to create a fundamental shift in the problems we aim to address, focused on positive outcomes for biodiversity and civil society. From wildlife translocation to policy development, we want to support organisations in the areas where they are the strongest and can affect positive change.
