About Us
With the vision ''For a world where everyone has decent place to live'', Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 in Georgia, USA. Through housing assistance programs, Habitat for Humanity has grown into a global non-profit organization, currently operating in 70 countries.
Habitat for Humanity office in Vietnam (Habitat Vietnam) was established since 2001. Since its inception, Habitat Vietnam has been delivering holistic approach to housing by supporting and empowering communities to take ownership in improving their living conditions, and has enabled more than 16,700 families and 158,800 individuals to build strength, stability, and self-reliance
Habitat Vietnam focuses on four key areas: Inclusive housing; Housing affordability; Safe, smart and sustainable communities; Government-people engagement.
Habitat Vietnam's operations span the provinces of Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Ha Tinh, Quang Nam, Dong Thap, Long An and Tien Giang.
